Job Description
Performs and documents preventive maintenance and repair of medical equipment and systems. Demonstrates a working knowledge of required test equipment and electronics, and interprets service manuals and schematics. May occasionally work on non-medical devices.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Electronics or completion of DoD Biomedical Equipment Repair School or equivalent experience
- 1 year of experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment
- Valid driver's license in good standing and reliable vehicle
- Excellent internal and external customer relations and interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of technical aspects of electronic equipment and its operation, repair, and maintenance
- Knowledge of current regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology as applied to use of biomedical equipment
- Ability to analyze, repair, and test electronic equipment
