The Robotics Hardware Technicians 1 & 2 are entry to mid-level positions focused on hands-on support for robotic hardware systems and preparing individuals for future growth. A Tech 1 role assists with basic assembly, wiring, and installation under close supervision, while a Tech 2 role is for a more experienced and independent technician capable of executing routine assembly and maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check & client hire requirements
- Proven basic mechanical aptitude or ability
- Ability to use hand and power tools to assemble hardware components
- Must possess a friendly and collaborative demeanor to work as a part of team
- Ability to solve problems, adapt or recommend changes to improve outcomes
- Competency in following quality control and safety measures
- Ability to work independently, as well as be a part of a cohesive team environment
- Ability to follow instructions of engineer or supervisor
- Must possess initiative, and common sense
- Ability to stand / be on your feet for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to be mobile throughout the labs and workspace or active warehouse environments
- Demonstrated work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts to meet demands and needs of company and client deadlines
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of materials and components unassisted and without accommodation
- Must have ability to travel 60-70% of the time between Seattle and Spokane with additional availability to travel to areas outside of the US desirable
