The Robotics Hardware Technician III is a senior technical role responsible for the ownership of hardware subsystems. This individual bridges the gap between engineering design and physical implementation, building prototypes, selecting components, and leading troubleshooting efforts for complex robotic cells.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in robotics R&D, automation, or hardware integration.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting complex technical and electrical schematics.
- Hands-on experience with Solidworks CAD for viewing and performing minor edits helpful.
- Strong technical knowledge of component selection and mechatronics.
- Leadership capability to coordinate cross-functional troubleshooting efforts.
- Strong analytical skills for design validation and technical problem-solving.
- Demonstrated work ethic and a history of reliable attendance.
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute to a cohesive team environment.
- Ability to follow instructions from an engineer or supervisor precisely and consistently.
- Possess a friendly and collaborative demeanor to work effectively as part of a team.
- Possess strong initiative, reliability, and common sense.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts to meet company demands and client deadlines.
- Ability to stand or remain on your feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to remain mobile throughout labs and various workspaces.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted and without accommodation.
