Remote Nutrition Specialist

Enara, a Silicon Valley-based start-up pioneering data-driven obesity and medical weight loss treatments, seeks a Remote Nutrition Specialist. The role involves providing telehealth-based care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering personalized plans to improve chronic health conditions associated with weight. Requirements

• At least a 4 year Nutrition and Dietetics degree, with at least 1 year experience coaching lifestyle and habit changes using nutrition and exercise.
• Bachelor's degree in Food &/or Nutritional Science.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian, specifically working with patients with Diabetes or other metabolic diseases.
• Current registration w/ the Commission on Dietetic Registry (CDR) in good standing.
• Knowledge of clinical competencies based on Nutrition Care Standards of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong proficiency and experience with medical technology including EMR and mobile apps.
• Collaboration & problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage a large patient load and multiple platforms both in face to face and app communication.
• Strong ability to empathize and connect with patients on a regular long term basis.
• Experience and comfortability working with the company's proprietary tech app.
