Infrastructure Engineer

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer at Cabot Credit Management, you will play a key role in delivering and supporting robust, secure, and scalable technology services across our organisation. You'll provide expert 3rd line support and technical leadership across a diverse technology landscape, proactively troubleshooting, optimising systems, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure our IT services remain reliable, resilient, and fit for the future.

Requirements

• Ensure high availability, reliability, and security are embedded across infrastructure and service delivery.
• Lead vulnerability management, patching, and preventative maintenance across platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and 3rd line support, resolving complex and high-impact incidents.
• Review, validate, and contribute to infrastructure design and project delivery.
• Support IT governance, compliance, and audits (including SOX, PCI-DSS), ensuring adherence to controls and regulations.
• Operate within ITIL frameworks, managing incidents, problems, and changes effectively.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise systems to maintain performance and integrity.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to deliver and support services.
• Integrate security and best practice into all technology and lifecycle decisions.
• Support ongoing system administration, service improvements, and out-of-hours escalation where required.
