Fire Protection Designer

Fire Protection Designer role involves designing, drafting, and developing water-based fire protection systems. Responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings, performing hydraulic calculations, and coordinating designs with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in fire protection system design and drafting
• NICET Certification in Water-Based Systems Layout (Level I or II)
• Working knowledge of NFPA standards (e.g., NFPA 13, NFPA 14, NFPA 20)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
• Experience performing hydraulic calculations for fire protection systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass company drug screening and criminal background check
