Harvest Quality Control Technician

The Quality Control Technician ensures established food safety and quality standards are consistently met by performing product grading, quality checks, and production monitoring activities.

Requirements

• Collect and inspect fruit samples and packaging materials
• Accurately record inspection results and quality data
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and production employees
• Monitor and document production practices
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are enforced
• Stock and maintain laboratory and production floor supplies
• Maintain a high standard of quality
• Document and report any food safety/quality concerns
• Participate in all required training
• Conduct x-ray/metal detector and check weigher verification checks
• Collect shelf life and retain samples
