Civil Structural Engineer role at Tractebel, contributing to the execution of marine infrastructure projects, with a focus on design, client communication, and project coordination.
Requirements
- Qualified Master of Science in Structural Engineering with a Major in âDredging and Off-Shore Engineeringâ or âConstruction Designâ or âMarine Engineeringâ
- At least 5 years of relevant technical design experience
- Experience in applying the relevant design codes and guidelines for the structural design and soil-structure interaction of marine infrastructure
- Knowledge of current Belgian and European Design Standards, legislation, codes of practice
- Good knowledge of contracts management for public clients
- Knowledge of standards for Building Consent (omgevingsvergunning) in Flanders (Belgium) is an asset
- Expertise in modeling with SCIA Engineer, Plaxis and/or GeoStudio or Dsheet is an important asset
- Aproficient knowledge of standard computer programs including spreadsheets and word processing
- A thorough knowledge of Dutch is essential and good knowledge of English or French is an important asset
