We are looking for a Fire Study Engineer to join our dynamic team at Tractebel, contributing to our mission of sustainable energy transition.
Requirements
- Conducting fire and explosion risk analyses in compliance with regulations, standards, and internal standards.
- Performing calculations and modeling, defining scenarios and hypotheses, collecting and implementing data, analyzing results, and synthesizing conclusions.
- Verifying the coherence between required detection and protection means and existing devices.
- Integrating the requirements of other disciplines (HVAC, civil engineering, EI&C...), safety references, regulatory requirements, codes, and applicable standards.
- Verifying the conformity of studies with the site situation and integrating the experience feedback.
- Defining recommendations for improvement or modification of installations.
- Presenting results and conclusions to clients.
- Ensuring the management of interfaces and effective communication between different stakeholders.
- Supervising and accompanying junior engineers, ensuring the follow-up of studies or outsourced simulations.
- Guaranteeing the respect of the budget, planning, and study perimeter.
- Assisting the Project Manager and the Construction Manager during technical meetings, especially with Safety Authorities.
