Job Description
The CAD designer is responsible for creating, modifying, and managing detailed technical drawings and 3D models from initial concepts, sketches, and specifications. This role requires seamless collaboration to collectively brainstorm, design, and machine solutions to improve production.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or certification in computer-aided design, drafting, or a related technical field
- Proficiency in using CAD software, such as Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, design standards, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
