Job Description
ETM is seeking a CEI Inspector to provide field observation, testing, and measurement services during construction. The role involves inspection, testing, material sampling, conforming to plans and specifications for asphalt, earthwork, and concrete, and reporting findings to contractors and regulatory authorities. Inspectors will operate safely on uneven terrain and require independent work and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Two (2) years of related experience in construction inspection
- Understanding of FDOT construction project administration methods
- CTQP Certification in Asphalt, Concrete, Earthwork, pile driving and drilled shafts (required)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Ability to utilize survey equipment (GPS Rovers, Base system) for measurement verification
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work within a team
