Job Description
A precision manufacturer is seeking a Director of Quality to lead quality management systems for casting, machining, and assembly operations. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with industry regulations, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining high quality standards. This is a full-time, in-person position.
Requirements
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS)
- Lead internal and external audits, customer quality interactions, and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Oversee dimensional and metallurgical inspection processes
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (RCCM, 8D, CAPA)
- Manage First Article Inspection (FAI) and PPAP/APQP activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve process capability
- Analyze quality KPIs and initiate continuous improvement programs
