Job Description
The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist provides support, mentorship, and hope to individuals navigating substance use, mental health, or co-occurring challenges. The role involves building authentic relationships with clients, assisting them in developing recovery plans, and promoting wellness, empowerment, and self-advocacy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) credential
- Personal lived experience with recovery from substance use and/or mental health challenges
