Assistant Supervisor Nights

The Assistant Shift Supervisor provides support to the shift supervisor, ensures the team meets shift production goals, back up team leader, and performs other duties as directed. The role requires a mechanical aptitude, ability to develop and maintain accurate records, and proficiency in mathematics and measurements.

Requirements

• Work with all team members in day-to-day operations
• Fill in areas when personnel are absent if staffing is not available
• Train new hires when needed
• Back up team leader on all fronts of Pellet Mill/ Hammermill operation
• Follow up on daily shift testing to make sure within spec and if not communicate to the team leader
• Own the 5s procedure with all that applies
• Multitask by balancing multiple items throughout the process
• Perform/coordinate housekeeping daily/weekly for shift swaps to maintain to required standard, also walk with Safety manager during housekeeping audit monthly
• Escalate issues promptly for proper resolution
• Other jobs as Directed
