Job Description
We are hiring a full-time, permanent Power System Electrician 1 position working out of Edmonton, AB. As a Power Electrician 1, you will work alongside the Transmission Operations Protection/SCADA or Apparatus team and report directly to the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Maintaining tools and equipment.
- Compiling reports.
- Keeping accurate records.
- Reading schematics and diagrams.
- Performing operational checks and acceptance tests.
- Conducting substation switching.
- Installing, maintaining, commissioning and calibrating protective relays.
- Installing, maintaining and commissioning high voltage apparatus.
- Troubleshooting and repair of substation equipment.
- Assisting with other substation related duties as required.
