Accounting Manager

EquipmentShare is hiring an Accounting Manager at its Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO. The role involves providing support to the Assistant Controller group and Management, performing month-end close procedures, and reviewing audit and review engagement requests. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of GAAP, be comfortable working independently and in a team environment, and have strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of GAAP and the ability to research accounting matters
• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and effectively manage multiple deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and propose solutions to key stakeholders
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Solid and effective communicator and ability to effectively document accounting processes and procedures
• Prior people management experience
