Job Description
EquipmentShare is hiring a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) to build the future of construction. The role involves maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment and tools. The ideal candidate will have advanced mechanical aptitude, knowledge of construction equipment, and superior customer service skills.
Requirements
- Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
- Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably
- Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
- Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed
- Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
