Manager, Product Engineering (SaaS)

Role Overview

The Manager, Product Engineering (SaaS) reports to the AVP of Product Engineering and will manage around 15 IT professionals. The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the development teams for the Analyze product. The role involves various projects and focuses on developing team members' skills through coaching and continuous learning.

What You Will Do

Manage a team of 15 IT professionals, including Developers, DevOps, and QA. Define clear expectations and objectives with team members, provide learning tools, and establish an open discussion for decision-making. Recognize and acknowledge team members' skills and utilize their strengths to benefit the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a manager role and at least 8 years in software development
• Passion for software development in an Agile environment
• Excellent knowledge of team performance metrics
• Ability to make quick and smart decisions under pressure
• Organizational and time management skills
• Natural charisma and leadership, team player
• Rigor and meticulousness
• Good communicator, versatile and autonomous
• Basic understanding of the insurance and wealth management industries is an asset
• Excellent knowledge of English and French (spoken and written)
