Job Description
We are seeking a 26-27 Assistant Principal to lead our school's culture and restorative justice practices. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing restorative practices in school settings and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Assistant Principal will report to the Principal and be responsible for developing and implementing restorative justice practices, coaching and professional development, student support and well-being, and serving as a member of the school leadership team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience implementing restorative practices in school settings
- Background in leading positive school climates that values diverse culture and ethnic backgrounds
- Background in coaching or mentoring teachers and facilitating professional development
- Strong understanding of adolescent development, trauma-informed practices, and culturally responsive pedagogy
