Senior Python Backend Engineer (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Backend Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the architecture and development of a scalable Python backend platform, build and further develop robust analysis and data processing pipelines, and integrate and use AI components. You will work closely with product management and the development team to develop high-performance APIs and maintain high code quality.

Requirements

• Completed education or study in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in backend development with Python
• Good understanding of system architecture and scalable applications
• Experience with data-intensive or analytical systems (e.g. data pipelines)
• Experience in handling structured and unstructured data
• Safe handling of API design and development (REST)
• Experience with various database systems (e.g. relational, NoSQL)
• Ideally first experience with AI/ML applications (e.g. NLP, LLMs)
• Structured, quality-conscious working style and team ability and self-responsibility
