Senior Python Backend Engineer (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Backend Engineer to strengthen our team and take responsibility for the architecture and development of a scalable Python backend platform.

Requirements

• Completed education or degree in computer science or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in backend development with Python
• Good understanding of system architecture and scalable applications
• Experience with data-intensive or analytical systems (e.g. data pipelines)
• Experience with structured and unstructured data
• Safe handling of API design and development (REST)
• Experience with various database systems (e.g. relational, NoSQL)
• Ideally, first experience with AI/ML applications (e.g. NLP, LLMs)
• You take responsibility for technical decisions beyond your own code
• Structured, quality-conscious working style, team ability, and self-responsibility
