As a Managing Consultant, Site Investigation & Remediation Management Engineer, you will lead civil and sediment engineering aspects of ERM's Site Investigation and Remediation Management (SI/RM) practice. You will serve as a technical leader for civil and sediment-related design, guiding multidisciplinary teams through investigation, concept development, permitting, and construction documentation. Your leadership will influence projects regionally and nationally, while connecting with ERM's global network to advance best practices worldwide.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering or closely related discipline.
- 4+ years of consulting experience that include sediment engineering, design support for in-water or near-water remediation, CERCLA-style state or federal investigation and remediation projects, civil site design for grading, earthwork, and stormwater management.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading, surfaces, drainage, and plan production.
- Working knowledge of Pacific Northwest regulations related to sediment remediation, stormwater, and environmental permitting.
- Proven project management expertise and ability to lead multi-person teams.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to travel for site visits and client meetings.
- Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
