Ignition Developer

Experienced software engineer to Develop and maintain our MES/SCADA which is based on the Inductive Automation Ignition platform and integrates with ERP and other systems.

Requirements

• Develop screens and reusable components within Ignition and Perspective
• Integrate Ignition with ERP systems via APIs and Data Lake
• Manage tag, script, and SQL database functionality
• Develop real-time dashboards and HMI interfaces for shop floor
• Implement error handling, data mapping, and interface templates
• Collaborate with IT, controls engineers, quality, ERP and manufacturing teams to define requirements
• Participate in on-call support and incident resolution
• Support deployments and version control of Ignition projects
• Maintain documentation and ensure system reliability
• Participate in DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines
