New Product Development Design Engineer

ERMCO is seeking a New Product Development Design Engineer to contribute to the development of electro-mechanical systems, including design, prototyping, production, and test. The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree and 3-5 years of engineering experience, with a demonstrated history of delivering projects. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as experience using Autodesk Inventor or other 3D modeling software.

Requirements

• Contribute to development of electro-mechanical systems
• Analysis of mechanical systems via classical and computer methods
• Interfacing with vendors to assure proper manufacture of components
• Ability for limited travel
• Hands-on assembly and physical production of electro-mechanical systems
• Self-motivated, self-starter, team player
