Backend Engineer | North America | Canada | Europe | Fully Remote

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to help design, develop, implement, and debug a high performance, reliable and highly scalable backend infrastructure. We value teamwork, autonomy, and honesty, and prioritize honesty and good communication. We are fully remote and support team members nearly anywhere in the world.

Requirements

• 2+ years designing robust, high performance scalable systems
• Solid experience with C++
• Working knowledge of both backend and game side languages
• Experience using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience with Unix like operating systems
• Commitment to code quality, documentation, and sound testing procedures
• Ability to learn and master innovative technologies and code
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under deadlines
• Realtime multiplayer peer to peer or client server experience
• Shipped one or more game titles
• Experience developing for game consoles (plus)
