Nutrition Site Coordinator II (Nutrition Services)

The Nutrition Site Coordinator II is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the dining room and kitchen at the site, maintaining positive community relations, and ongoing communication with their supervisor and Senior Director of Nutrition Programs.

Requirements

• Responsible for the day-to-day meal service at the site
• Manage high profile events
• Act as a liaison with all food service vendors
• Supports with inventory control and management
• Act as a concierge to seniors, guests and volunteers in the dining room
• Conduct intake and assessments of clients along with related agency documentation
• Oversee the collection of daily meal contributions and meal counts
• Provide accurate daily and weekly accounting of clients
• Draft and develop new systems and reports
• Responsible for distributing the monthly menus for the center
• Assist with the management of the Home Delivered Meal (HDM) program
• Assist with training staff
• Support outreach efforts to promote program services in the community
• As a mandated reporter for Elder Abuse, report any suspicious circumstances or suspected abuse to Adult Protective Services
• Ensure all appropriate policies and procedures are followed
