Job Description
The Medical Laboratory Technician or Scientist will perform and report tests of all complexity levels, assist with routine screening, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and injuries, and participate in Quality Assurance, Quality Control Monitoring, instrumentation maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent certification, is required within one year from the date of hire
- Graduate of an associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technician
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), is required within one year from the date of hire
- Graduate of a four-year degree in Clinical Laboratory science
- Two years of full-time lab experience for MLS (ASCP) certified
- Certification as an MLS (ASCP)
