The Site EHS Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs to support injury and illness prevention while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations within manufacturing and distribution operations.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive EHS systems, processes, and training programs.
- Lead all site safety initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Maintain accountability for all safety systems, policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits, develop mitigation strategies, and drive corrective actions through closure.
- Act as primary first responder for EHS-related emergencies.
- Provide technical safety guidance to site leadership, HR, managers, supervisors, and employees.
- Oversee industrial hygiene monitoring and testing activities.
- Track environmental inspections, audit findings, and corrective actions.
- Maintain waste disposal records in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Drive waste minimization and sustainability initiatives.
- Recommend updates to environmental policies and procedures.
