Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead major period-end closing activities for Luxottica North America Fixed Assets accounting for 5,000+ locations and 400,000+ active asset records. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably with experience in fixed assets and SAP. The role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of comparable experience
- Accounting experience with working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Ability to adapt to shifting and competing priorities
- Strong communication (both verbal and written), organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other system applications
- Leads by example through high personal standards and organizational commitment
- Demonstrates willingness and ability to be a self-starter, takes the initiative to solve problems
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Fixed Assets experience preferred
- SAP experience preferred
