Job Description
The Lower School Associate Teacher supports lead teachers in creating a joyful, structured, and academically rigorous classroom for scholars in Grades 3 & 4.
Requirements
- Support daily instruction by reinforcing the lead teacher’s lesson plans
- Lead small groups and provide one-on-one support to scholars
- Assist with classroom management and reinforce consistent routines
- Track student progress and communicate observations to the lead teacher
- Support scholars with lifework, transitions, and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, instructional coaches, and school staff
- Communicate positively and professionally with families when needed
- Participate in professional learning, school events, and traditions
