Eucalyptus is a digital health platform that is expanding internationally. The company is looking for a Strategy & Ops Manager (Expansion) to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience working in high-pressure environments and will be responsible for owning the full due diligence process, launching new markets, and scaling launched markets. The role is based in the UK and relocation is required.
Requirements
- At least 6+ years experience working in a high pressure environment such as law, consulting (MBB preferred), investment banking, or as an Operator
- Commercial modelling: able to build a commercial model from scratch, make assumptions explicit, and defend them
- Business understanding & due diligence: quickly grasp what makes a market successful for Eucalyptus, what the unit economics depend on, and how different markets compare
- Due diligence: able to research a new market independently and produce a clear, structured answer
- Negotiation: had real commercial conversations with partners, suppliers, pharma companies and moved them forward
- Project management: ran complex cross-functional workstreams with real accountability
- Communication: able to write tight investment theses and clear slide decks
- Founder mindset: operates like a founder and enjoys the hustle of getting things done. Able to be an example of resilience and ownership - when something breaks, fix it, don't wait for others
- Data & SQL (Nice to have): comfortable getting own answers from data - writing SQL queries, building dashboards, and stress-testing own assumptions without waiting for an analyst to do it for you
