Eucalyptus is seeking a Strategy & Ops Associate (Expansion) to join their international expansion team, working on market selection, launch, and scaling. The role involves evaluating new markets, building business cases, and owning market launches. Requirements include 2+ years of experience in high-pressure environments, commercial modelling, and due diligence. The team operates with high autonomy and accountability to outcomes. Eucalyptus is a digital health platform behind Juniper, a weight-management program, and is expanding globally.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience working in a high pressure environment such as law, consulting (MBB preferred) or investment banking or 3+ years working as an operator, preferably in a recent high-growth startup
- Commercial modelling: ability to build a commercial model from scratch, make assumptions explicit, and defend them
- Business understanding & due diligence: ability to quickly grasp what makes a market successful for Eucalyptus, what the unit economics depend on, and how different markets compare
- Due diligence: ability to research a new market independently and produce a clear, structured answer
- Negotiation: ability to have real commercial conversations with partners, suppliers, pharma companies, and move them forward
- Project management: ability to run complex cross-functional workstreams with real accountability
- Communication: ability to write tight investment theses and clear slide decks
- Founder mindset: ability to operate like a founder and enjoy the hustle of getting things done, with resilience and ownership
