Job Description
The NGGM Project Manager will be responsible for managing the implementation of the Next Generation Gravity Mission (NGGM) project, covering space and ground segments. The position requires a master's degree in a scientific/engineering domain and 10 years of relevant professional experience. Alternatively, candidates with a bachelor's degree and additional four years of relevant professional experience can be considered.
Requirements
- responsibility for the end-to-end procurement and technical management of the Next Generation Gravity Mission Project
- management of the industrial contract(s) related to your area of responsibility
- representation of the project to ESA technical authorities and international partners
- management of the NGGM ESA Project Teams and associated support from the Directorates
- identification, assessment, management and reporting of health and safety risks
- delivery of complex projects within cost and schedule
- complex project risk management processes
- result orientation, operational efficiency, fostering cooperation, relationship management, continuous improvement, forward thinking
