Job Description
This is a fixed-term appointment as a Space Weather Project Manager with an initial duration of 4 years. The role involves managing a project for developing space weather capability for the Belgian defence sector, and requires strong leadership and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, and experience in space/ground system development, integration, verification and testing.
Requirements
- Experience in project risk management processes
- Familiarity with ESA procurement aspects
- Knowledge of Space Weather systems
- Knowledge of the specific features of defence and dual-use systems
- Proven experience in managing space/ground project implementation
