Job Description
The Telecommunication Systems Engineer position provides expert technical support and consultancy to ESA projects, programmes and general studies in the field of telecommunication systems throughout all project phases, including feasibility studies, project reviews, and R&D activities.
Requirements
- Providing expert technical support and consultancy to ESA projects, programmes and general studies
- Participating in feasibility studies, project reviews and evaluation of procurement proposals
- Identifying critical development problems and assisting in their resolution
- Contributing to the definition of technology development requirements and work plans
- Defining, initiating and managing R&D activities
- Fostering new application areas for multidisciplinary activities
- Monitoring applicable scientific and technological trends
- Contributing to the dissemination of results and transfer of knowledge
- Performing laboratory activities as required
