Job Description
Performs various functions within the food services departments, including cleaning cafeteria tables, making coffee/espresso, and cashiering. Prepares and sets up food, supplies, and nourishment for patient, catering, and retail services.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Washington State âFood and Beverage Workersâ Permit
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food-handling standards and practices
- Recent food service, cashiering, or customer service work experience
- Ability to communicate with customers, fellow employees, and other departments
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Capable of efficient time management
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Basic understanding of POS functionality
