Job Description
The Field Coordinator will support the District Consultant in executing the India Safe Water Program at the block and Gram Panchayat levels. The role involves technical and coordination support, project implementation, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building.
Requirements
- Project Implementation and Technical Support (50%)
- Stakeholder Engagement and Field Coordination (30%)
- Capacity Building (20%)
- Experience in collaboration with government officials of Water or Health at Field, district, and block levels
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma or higher plus 2-5 years of experience in the development sector preferably in the field of Water, Public Health, Sanitation, and Hygiene with government or NGOs
- Communication skills in Odia (preferred), Hindi and English. Understanding of local dialects following district will also be a required asset
- Demonstrated experience working with and managing suppliers and contractors
- Multitasking and ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience in program implementation at district, block, and community levels
- A valid driving license and a vehicle (2/4 Wheeler).
