Job Description
The Behavioral Health Manager serves as a practice leader and staff coach, strengthening staff's engagement with participants, their response to crises, and their application of evidence-informed behavioral strategies in real-world settings.
Requirements
- LCSW or LMSW or equivalent behavioral health credential strongly preferred
- MSW, MHC, LMHC-LP, CASAC, or related degree with 2+ years supporting justice-involved or high-risk populations required
- LMFT or MFT-LP based on professional experience
- Experience coaching or training frontline staff and program participants strongly preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, not required
- Experience in community-based, non-clinical, or workforce settings is valued
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as the program requires
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Experience working in the South Bronx or similar communities is a plus
- Commitment to working with culturally diverse populations; relevant lived experience is valued
