Job Description
Excel Academy is seeking a Founding High School Learning Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, Rhode Island certification, and 2+ years of teaching experience in an urban public school or charter school setting. The role will involve teaching daily instructional support lessons, serving as an inclusion teacher, and managing Special Education services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Rhode Island certification
- 2+ years of teaching experience in an urban public school or charter school setting
- Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, or a language commonly spoken by Excel students and families at an advanced level (preferred)
- First generation college graduates (preferred)
