Job Description
Excel Academy is seeking a Founding High School Special Education Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, supporting students with special needs, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Requirements
- Teach daily instructional support lessons to students on caseload
- Serve as an inclusion teacher as needed
- Work closely with general education teachers to differentiate curriculum
- Ensure that all work with students with special needs is aligned with the school's academic goals
- Manage paperwork associated with Special Education cases
- Maintain regular communication with students' parents/guardians and families
