Excel Hotel Group is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales to lead sales efforts for the Courtyard by Marriott El Cajon and Hampton Inn El Cajon. This role is ideal for a proactive hotel sales professional who thrives on relationship-building, market strategy, and driving revenue across multiple brands.
Requirements
- Drive revenue growth through proactive solicitation of corporate, group, and transient business
- Conduct outside sales calls, prospecting, site tours, and networking activities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, community partners, and key accounts
- Sell all aspects of both hotels including guestrooms, meeting space, and brand amenities
- Create and execute sales strategies aligned with market demand and hotel goals
- Partner with hotel leadership and operations teams to ensure excellent service delivery
- Prepare sales reports, manage account files, and negotiate contracts
- Respond to RFPs and deliver compelling proposals and presentations
- Represent the hotels at trade shows, industry events, and community functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
