Job Description
Excelitas is a global technology leader seeking an Optomechatronic Assembly Technician to join their team in Göttingen. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and precise alignment of optomechatronic systems, quality inspection, and operation of software-supported testing and measuring equipment.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in mechatronics, precision optics, precision mechanics, or a comparable technical field, ideally supplemented by an additional qualification
- Strong skills in handling demanding optical and precision-mechanical components, and enjoyment of working in a production environment
- Knowledge in technical optics and optical measurement technology
- High resilience, quick ability to familiarize yourself with new topics, and a careful, focused working style
- Good MS Office skills as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities
