Job Description
Experian is seeking a Cloud Database Lead to design, implement, and secure cloud-based database solutions across the enterprise. The role leads a team of database engineers and works closely with architecture, development, DevOps, and App teams to ensure highly available, scalable, and cost-efficient data platforms.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in database engineering/administration
- 3+ years leading cloud database initiatives
- Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud databases
- Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible
- Strong scripting abilities in Python
- Deep understanding of database performance tuning, HA/DR, replication, and security
- Experience with cloud monitoring and cost optimization
