Senior Electronics Engineer

Role Overview

Expleo is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to work on developing state-of-the-art solutions for electro-optical defence and security platforms. The role covers all aspects of the product lifecycle, from requirements to validation and qualification. The successful candidate will have broad expertise in electronics and experience in heavily regulated industries.

What You Will Do

The Senior Electronics Engineer will perform activities such as design of complex electronic circuit assemblies, leading discussions with a multi-disciplinary team, and contributing to the development of the wider electronics team.

Requirements

• Degree level qualification in Electronics Engineering or closely related discipline
• Proficient in the use of schematic capture packages (Cadence, Mentor Graphics or similar)
• Proficient in the generation of sub-system requirements/procurement specs
• General understanding of engineering process and design lifecycles applicable for the development of high reliability electronics
• Mixed-signal electronics design
• Low-power RF design
• High-speed digital design
• Understanding of low-noise design principles
• Analogue design
• Test and verification activities
• Strong demonstrated experience of electronic design throughout the design lifecycle
• Development of electronic products in a formal environment
• Experience testing at circuit board and system level (e.g. board bring-up and debug, EMC testing)
