Senior Electronics Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Electronics Engineer role sits within the Under Water Systems engineering team, employing engineering skills, knowledge, and competencies to satisfy internal and external customer expectations for services, products, and deliverables.

What You Will Do

Conducting Electronics Engineering design, development, testing, integration of electronics sub-systems and equipment, developing minimum design capture documentation, preparing prototype equipment designs, and providing technical input into system-level architectures.

To be successful, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired knowledge and experience in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering/Science, minimum 5 years engineering experience in a hardware development environment, and ability to accurately document the work performed.

Requirements

• Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering/Science Degree
• Minimum 5 years engineering experience in a hardware development environment
• Ability to accurately document the work performed
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex designs in FPGAs
• Demonstrated ability to design software on embedded processors
• Demonstrated ability to develop circuit boards in Altium designer or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to take designs through to production
• Knowledge of and experience with medium/high speed digital design
• Knowledge in circuit simulation tools
