Dietary Aide - Casual

Part-time/casual Dietary Aide position in a 44 bed long-term care facility in Port Stanley, Ontario. Candidate must have Food Handlers Certification and previous dietary experience in LTC Home.

Requirements

• Successful completion and/or enrollment in a Food Service Worker Program meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long-Term Care Homes Act
• Food Handlers Certification approved by Public Health Department
• Previous dietary experience in LTC Home (0-1 year)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to understand simple verbal and written instructions in English
• Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures
• Ability to do moderate to heavy lifting
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
