Recreation Aide

The Recreation Aide assists in the planning, organization, and implementation of meaningful programs for the residents of Heritage Lodge Personal Care, and maintains effective communication with residents, families, volunteers, and staff.

Requirements

• College diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, Gerontology or equivalent is required
• Previous experience working with seniors is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• Valid provincial driver's license to transport residents by van is required
