Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will enhance the effective management and quality of nursing practice daily, ensuring resident/patient care is provided with established nursing standards and principles. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring residents/patients, managing nursing and personal care staff, and providing direction to the nursing department. Qualifications include a current certificate of competence, registration with the Approved Professional Institutions, and previous experience in Community or long-term care.
Requirements
- Current certificate of competence from the Approved Institutions for the province
- Registration with the Approved Professional Institutions for the province
- Previous experience in Community or long-term care
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team, to prioritize tasks in order of urgency
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and comprehension skills
- Developed creative problem-solving skills
