Registered Nurse (RN) Casual - Sherwood Court

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care to residents with established nursing standards and principles, physicians’ orders and administrative policies. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring residents, managing nursing staff, and providing direction to the nursing department.

Requirements

• Appropriate current certificate of competence from the Approved Institutions for the province
• Registered/eligible for registration with the Approved Professional Institutions for the province
• Previous similar experience in Community or long-term care, with comprehensive knowledge of duties
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team, to prioritize tasks in order of urgency
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and comprehension skills
• Developed creative problem-solving skills to look at the “big picture”
