Senior Electrical Engineer - Beaumont, Tx 1

Senior Electrical Engineer position available at ExxonMobil's Beaumont, TX facility. Responsible for optimizing, troubleshooting, and designing electrical equipment, and ensuring safe, environmentally sound, and profitable operations. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required, 5+ years of experience preferred.

Requirements

• Maintain close contact with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project development
• Design and specify electrical equipment
• Coordinate projects for new or replacement equipment
• Commissioning, startup assistance, and support of electrical systems
• Serve as an electrical technology expert liaison
• Supports and interfaces with business teams to maintain and improve electrical reliability while reducing maintenance costs
• Participates in screening, optimization, basic design preparation for electric power systems
• Develops project scoping, design and detail specifications for electric power systems
• Monitors Engineering Quality Control and leads contractor’s electrical work
• Provides technical support and services to operating facilities
• Performs power systems simulations and analyses
• Updates Company practices and specifications
• Applies ExxonMobil Global Practices, Design Practices, General Information and Instructions, codes and standards in support of projects during the detailed design phase
• Participates actively in the Electrical Community of Practice
• Participates in incident investigations in support of assets
• Performs Risk Assessments and develops Equipment Strategies in support of assets
• Manages electrical area classification for assets within the facility supported
